About The Position

Empyreal Logistics is seeking an Armored Van Driver/Cash Courier to represent the company as a transportation and customer service professional. Drivers operate lightweight armored vehicles and provide customer service while safely collecting, transporting, and delivering currency and coin between vehicles and client locations. The role also involves loading and unloading ATM machines, using handheld electronic devices to scan and track shipments and determine routes, and ensuring clients’ assets are handled safely, accurately, and securely. The driver maintains professional communications with customers, co-workers, management, and designated company representatives; promptly reports delays, customer-service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information; and completes documentation using handheld devices. The position includes pre- and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and maintaining vehicles, equipment, and facilities in clean, operational-ready condition. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must have CLEET Certification.
Working knowledge of navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, web-based maps, or physical maps.
Ability to maintain basic logs and records and use scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to maintain professionalism, courtesy, respect, and uniform standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
Trustworthiness and ability to act with integrity.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in delivery driving, route driving, truck driving, medical courier work, messenger work, ATM technician work, patrol officer work, military service, secure transport, or security guard work.

Responsibilities

Represent Empyreal as a transportation and customer service professional.
Communicate positively, courteously, and professionally with customers, co-workers, and management in person, by phone, in writing, and through electronic means.
Safely operate vehicles in varied traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions.
Collect, transport, and deliver currency and coin between vehicles and client locations.
Load and unload ATM machines.
Use handheld electronic devices to scan and track currency shipments and determine vehicle routes.
Ensure safe, accurate, and secure collection and delivery of clients’ assets.
Maintain communications with designated company representatives and promptly report delays, customer service issues, incidents, unusual circumstances, and other important information.
Complete documentation and updates using handheld electronic devices.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
Maintain the vehicle, equipment, and facility in clean and operational-ready condition.
Act in a manner that reflects Empyreal’s vision, values, and WOW culture; foster respectful, productive relationships; address conflict constructively; and work in partnership across workgroups.
Perform other duties as assigned.
