About The Position

The Dreamland Maintenance role supports the operation of the retail and restaurant by maintaining the building and keeping its interior and exterior clean, safe, and in working order. The employee follows cleaning and maintenance checklists, removes trash and recycling, maintains exterior areas, communicates facilities issues to management, and tracks cleaning supplies for reorder requests. The role requires reliability, strong work ethics, attention to detail, and a positive, cooperative approach in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves working outside for the majority of the shift and performing regular cleaning and maintenance tasks indoors and outdoors. Employees may be asked to carry out other duties as requested. Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Ensure all aspects of the building are maintained and ready for customer visits.
• Deep clean, organize, and service exterior areas, including trash and waste management, light landscaping maintenance, the storefront, sidewalks, and windows.
• Collect and remove trash and recycling daily.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists and schedules.
• Communicate facilities issues to the management team.
• Keep inventory of supplies and cleaning materials and prepare reorder requests for management.
• Complete scheduled outdoor cleaning and maintenance, including removing trash, watering plants, power washing designated areas, wiping down benches and beams, and maintaining parking and marquee signs and cones.
• Communicate with the landscaper and learn the sprinkler system in coordination with the landscaper.
• Complete scheduled indoor cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, refilling utilities, cleaning trash cans, dusting, and wiping down tables and chairs.
• Create a list and inventory of supplies as needed for ordering.
