About The Position

The Door Manufacturer works as a production and warehouse associate and assembler on a pre-hanging door assembly line. The role includes operating machinery and tools to prepare wood materials, maintaining assembly-line equipment, and supporting warehouse production needs. The manufacturer monitors product quality and helps maintain a clean, safe work environment while following posted safety rules. The position is located at 108 E Slaton Hwy, Lubbock, TX 79404, pays $15 per hour, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applicants must authorize a background check and pass a urinalysis drug screening.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information one-on-one.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding, carry out simple one- or two-step instructions, and deal with standardized situations involving only occasional or no variables.
Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
Must authorize a background check.
Must pass a urinalysis drug screening.

Responsibilities

Work on a pre-hanging door assembly line.
Routinely maintain equipment on the warehouse assembly line.
Operate machinery and use power saws, air nail guns, staplers, and other tools to prepare wood materials for door assembly.
Complete forklift training and certification and operate a forklift.
Load, unload, store, and package production materials from the warehouse as needed.
Monitor quality assurance throughout the production process.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe warehouse safety rules.
