About The Position

84 Lumber is hiring a full-time Door Shop Manufacturer to work as a production/warehouse associate and assembler on a pre-hanging door assembly line in Meridian, Idaho. The role includes operating equipment and tools to prepare wood materials, maintaining assembly-line equipment, handling production materials, supporting quality assurance, and keeping the warehouse clean and safe. The position pays $20+ per hour, depending on experience, and includes full benefits. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applicants must authorize a background check and pass a urinalysis drug screening.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information to others one-on-one.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding, carry out simple one- or two-step instructions, and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
Must authorize a background check.
Must pass a urinalysis drug screening.

Responsibilities

Work on a pre-hanging door assembly line as a production/warehouse associate and assembler.
Routinely maintain equipment on the warehouse assembly line.
Operate machinery and tools, including power saws, air nail guns, and staplers, to prepare wood materials for door assembly.
Complete forklift training and certification and operate a forklift.
Load, unload, store, and package production materials from the warehouse as needed.
Monitor quality assurance throughout the production process.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe posted warehouse safety rules.
