About The Position

The full-time Door Shop Manufacturer works as a production and warehouse associate and assembler on a pre-hanging door assembly line. The position includes routine maintenance of warehouse assembly-line equipment and preparing wood materials for door assembly. The manufacturer also handles production materials, monitors quality, and helps maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and effectively present information one-on-one.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding, carry out simple one- or two-step instructions, and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Ability to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work on a pre-hanging door assembly line as a production and warehouse associate and assembler.
• Routinely maintain warehouse assembly-line equipment.
• Operate machines and use power saws, air nail guns, staplers, and other tools to prepare wood materials for door assembly.
• Complete forklift training and certification and operate a forklift.
• Load, unload, store, and package production materials as needed.
• Monitor quality assurance throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and observe posted warehouse safety rules.
