About The Position

The Door Attendant helps deliver Sonesta’s mission of “Wowing” guests with Amazing Moments. The role assists guests entering and leaving the hotel, provides information about hotel facilities and local attractions, and helps with luggage, vehicles, directions, and transportation arrangements.

Requirements

• Professional verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including the ability to deal with difficult guests.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests.
• Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property.
• Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services.
• Provide information about local attractions and activities.
• Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms or the designated bell area.
• Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
• Assist guests and visitors getting into and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage.
• Provide directions to guests.
• Arrange transportation for guests and visitors and record advance transportation requests as needed.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors.
