About The Position

The Donation Center Associate assists contributors with donations and moves materials within the store as needed. The associate upholds Goodwill's Amazing Customer Experience (ACE) culture, values, and mission in interactions with co-workers, clients, customers, and management. This entry-level, full-time position is located at 5055 Bella Vista Forest Hills ADC in Bella Vista, Arkansas. The stated pay is $11.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school education.
0 to 6 months of related experience and/or training.
Communication skills.
Mathematical skills.

Decision-making ability.
Supervisory experience.
Planning, organizing, and project management skills.
Ability to use a hand truck and work in a multitasking environment.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Accept donations, assist contributors, and issue donation receipts.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude, remain flexible, and assume new responsibilities as needed.
Commit to personal and job improvement and team building.
Treat every customer and contributor as a guest by following GUEST: Greet, Understand, Explain, Suggest, and Thank.
Pre-sort donations, separate salvage, and remove items as required.
Use a hand truck to move materials around the donation center and move materials within the store as needed.
Accept donations of good quality and politely refuse unacceptable items.
Sort donations into established categories and safely pack them for transport.
Help unload unfinished goods from trucks, move them to the proper staging area, and assist team members with distributing goods.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Complete accurate daily and weekly records when assigned.
Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
