About The Position

Second Cycle, in partnership with its non-profit partners, collects clothing and household donations. The Donation Center Attendant collects donations, records donation information, maintains a clean and professional site, organizes donations, and assists drivers during pickups. The role requires physical strength and stamina, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and a commitment to friendly, courteous service to donors and the public.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry it for short distances.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
• Strong back and abdominal muscles to maintain proper posture while operating equipment and lifting heavy objects.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.
• Good hearing to detect warning signals and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Basic comprehension of written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic English communication skills, including speaking, writing, reading, and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Collect donations from donors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Record information related to donations on company-issued equipment.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Second Cycle.
• Organize donations within the designated trailer.
• Assist drivers during the loading process when pickups are scheduled.
• Provide friendly and welcoming service to donors and the public.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through cooperative and professional interactions with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
