About The Position

Second Cycle, in partnership with its non-profit partners, collects clothing and household donations. The Donation Center Attendant collects and records donations, keeps the site clean and professional, organizes donations, and assists drivers during pickups. The role requires physical strength and stamina, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and friendly, courteous service to donors and the public. Employees are expected to contribute to a positive work environment through cooperative and professional interactions with coworkers, customers, and vendors. Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry items short distances.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
• Strong back and abdominal muscles to maintain proper posture while operating equipment and lifting heavy objects.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.
• Good hearing to detect warning signals and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Basic comprehension of written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic English communication skills, including speaking, writing, reading, and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Collect donations from donors courteously and professionally.
• Record donation information using company-issued equipment.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Second Cycle.
• Organize donations within the designated trailer.
• Assist drivers with loading when pickups are scheduled.
• Provide friendly and welcoming service to donors and the public.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through cooperative and professional interactions with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
