About The Position

Second Cycle, in partnership with its non-profit partners, collects clothing and household donations. The Donation Center Attendant collects and organizes donations, records donation information, maintains a clean and professional donation site, and assists drivers with pickups. The role calls for physical strength and stamina, the ability to work in varied weather conditions, and courteous service to donors and the public. Employees are expected to contribute to a positive work environment through cooperative and professional interactions with coworkers, customers, and vendors. Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and carry it for short distances.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
• Strong back and abdominal muscles to maintain proper posture while operating equipment and lifting heavy objects.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and precipitation.
• Good hearing to detect warning signals and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Basic comprehension of written and verbal instructions in English.
• Basic English communication skills, including speaking, writing, reading, and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Collect donations from donors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Record information related to donations using company-issued equipment.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Second Cycle.
• Organize donations within the designated trailer.
• Assist drivers during the loading process when pickups are scheduled.
• Provide friendly and welcoming service to donors and the public.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through cooperative and professional interactions with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
