About The Position

ACNB Bank is hiring an entry-level Document Imaging Representative in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The role supports bank operations by preserving, organizing, and maintaining access to important deposit, loan, and account documents. No prior banking experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The position calls for accuracy, consistency, organization, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The representative scans and indexes documents, checks digital images for quality and correct filing, manages daily document workflows, retrieves off-site records, and helps maintain compliance with document-retention standards. The role also includes light cleaning and basic scanner maintenance. The position involves repetitive tasks performed while seated or standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Scan and accurately index deposit, loan, and account documents so they are easy to retrieve and stored correctly.
Perform quality-control checks on digital images for legibility, accuracy, and correct association with the customer, account, and document type.
Manage daily workflows, including importing statements, processing unidentified documents, and verifying system counts.
Retrieve off-site documents as needed and maintain proper file order.
Help ensure compliance with document-retention standards.
Perform light daily cleaning and basic scanner maintenance, and report equipment issues promptly.
