The District Shift Leader participates in a targeted General Manager development plan, preparing to lead a bakery as a General Manager when a position becomes available. The role performs management duties at a home location and supports other bakeries in the market as needed. District Shift Leaders lead to the General Manager standard when the General Manager is absent and are expected to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available; the specific location is not guaranteed. The District Shift Leader leads by example, represents the brand, coaches and trains team members, and works across different roles to help ensure high-quality food and beverages and a safe, clean store. The development plan includes administrative training in inventory tracking, vendor orders, cash management, profit-and-loss analysis, food and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting. The position requires at least 30 hours per week. The posting states that team members will not work past 3 p.m. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours, with or without reasonable accommodations.
