About The Position

The District Manager oversees daily route operations, delivery performance, customer service, and service team members to ensure efficient, high-quality service. The role reports directly to the Service Manager. The position includes frequent travel within the branch area to customer sites and work in and out of customer locations, loading areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, Service Center, or depot. The role requires operating vehicles on public roads and performing physical tasks that include lifting up to 75 lbs. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license and a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety, or other violations. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background and safety-sensitive drug screening.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in route operations, delivery management, transportation, service management, or logistics leadership.
At least 1 year of direct leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
Valid driver's license and a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety, or other violations.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and types of products and to count, add, and subtract accurately.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily execution of delivery and service routes to ensure accurate and efficient customer service.
Manage route schedules, territory coverage, and workload distribution to maximize route productivity.
Lead, coach, and develop route drivers and service team members to drive performance and accountability.
Ensure consistent customer service and respond to escalated customer concerns, service issues, and delivery challenges.
Promote and enforce company safety policies, DOT regulations when applicable, and operational procedures.
