About The Position

C3 Industries is a multi-state, vertically integrated cannabis company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It operates the High Profile Cannabis Shop retail network and several cannabis product brands. The Dispensary Keyholder (described in the posting as the Shift Lead) oversees store operations in cooperation with management and drives sales by helping customers select and purchase cannabis products that suit their needs and preferences. This is a full-time position at the High Profile dispensary at 4211 Conestoga Dr, Springfield, Illinois. The stated rate of pay is $19.00. The role includes customer check-in, sales and customer education, store upkeep, order fulfillment, point-of-sale and cash handling, inventory support, and opening and closing duties. The Keyholder acts as the store representative when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent, supports employee training, and helps ensure staff follow company policies and applicable regulations. The position requires nights, weekends, and some holidays. Requirements

At least 3 years of customer service experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling practices.
Commitment to regularly reaching key performance indicators.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to correspond professionally.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Ability to pass a background check and be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to obtain and maintain required state licenses based on work location.

Nice To Haves

Experience opening and closing a retail store or restaurant.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and perform initial check-in verification of required identification.
Meet or exceed individual sales targets and conversion-rate goals using effective sales techniques and an understanding of customer needs.
Assist new customers with state-required forms and update customer information in the point-of-sale system as needed.
Maintain the waiting room and sales floor, keep the sales floor stocked, and delegate these tasks to team members as needed.
Educate customers about cannabis properties and product genetics based on their desired effects, ailments, or other requests.
Fill online orders efficiently while prioritizing customer experience and state compliance.
Model strong sales and customer service and make the customer experience a priority.
Handle customer complaints professionally and partner with management as needed.
Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about cannabis trends and compliance regulations.
Use and maintain point-of-sale systems accurately and perform daily cash management in accordance with company policies.
Open and close the store, assist with product intake, and participate in inventory counts.
Participate in management and store meetings and offer suggestions regarding employee development, sales opportunities, and organizational improvements.
Comply with dispensary policies, including state and local regulations, security and access protocols, inventory tracking, dress codes, and work schedules.
Ensure employees follow company policies and guidelines; represent the store when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is not present.
Support training for current and new employees on job duties, point-of-sale systems, inventory, product options, and sales tactics.
Participate in counting, pooling, and splitting tips as assigned by management.
