About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis journey by explaining product benefits and potential side effects. The role requires knowledge of products and their effects, excellent customer service, and processing purchases in accordance with state regulations while providing an exceptional customer experience. The position is part-time, works up to 25 hours per week, and has flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Availability after hours may be required based on business needs. The position pays $15.00 per hour and is eligible for tips.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or a similar field.
Meet the minimum age requirement of 21, or 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at various seniority levels.
Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism when communicating with all levels of management and staff.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to work with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and to see and hear, or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately.
Ability to function independently, demonstrate flexibility and personal integrity, and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile people.
Ability to move throughout the facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information; observe and inspect details at varying ranges; and operate computing devices.
Ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and lift, carry, or position objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, or steps and position oneself or objects at floor level by crouching, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and after hours as business needs require.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background record check.

Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.

Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
Assist customers with product or device issues.
Work with leadership and management to find solutions to customer issues.
Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
As needed, fulfill delivery associate responsibilities, including following company policies and procedures; a valid driver's license and clear driving record are required for delivery work.
As needed, assist with processing online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
