About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis purchasing journey by educating them about product benefits and potential side effects. The role requires product knowledge and excellent customer service, with the primary function of facilitating purchases in accordance with state regulations while providing an exceptional customer experience. The position is part-time, works up to 25 hours per week, and has flexible hours depending on store needs. Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours work based on business needs is required. The role is based at a store; remote work is not available. Pay is $15.00 per hour, and the position is also eligible for tips. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and experience in the field or a similar field.
Meet the minimum age requirement of 21, or 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at various seniority levels.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and as part of a team.
Professionalism, business sense, and discretion, including the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions and interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to serve customers and coworkers, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background-record check.
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and to see and hear, or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately.
Ability to function independently and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies, including people who are ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or at times hostile.
Constant ability to move throughout the facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information; observe and inspect details at varying ranges; and operate computing devices.
Frequent ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, push or pull up to 50 pounds, lift, carry, or position up to 50 pounds, use stools, ladders, or steps, and crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required to fulfill the delivery-driver role.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.

Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
Assist customers with product or device issues and work with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Complete other tasks assigned by management, including additional team tasks as needed.
When needed as a delivery associate, follow Trulieve policies and procedures; a valid driver's license and clear driving record are required for the delivery role.
When needed for online support, assist with processing online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
