About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis purchasing journey by explaining product benefits and potential side effects. The role requires product knowledge and a commitment to excellent customer service, while facilitating purchases in compliance with state regulations and providing an exceptional customer experience. Associates may also be asked to perform additional team duties, including delivery-associate or online-support tasks, as needed. This is a part-time position with flexible hours based on store needs, up to 25 hours per week. Employees must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may be needed after hours based on business needs. The position pays $15.00 per hour, is eligible for tips, and includes a benefits package with paid time off.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, and experience in this or a similar field.
Minimum age of 21, or 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at various seniority levels.
Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both without supervision and as part of a team.
Business sense and professionalism when communicating with management and staff, and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English proficiency sufficient to serve customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background-record check.
For delivery-driver duties, a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and to see and hear, or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately.
Ability to function independently, demonstrate flexibility and personal integrity, and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Ability to work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people.
Constant movement throughout the facility, including confined spaces; communication and exchange of sensitive information; observation and inspection at varying ranges; and operation of computing devices.
Frequent manipulation of objects of varying sizes and weights, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds, lifting, carrying, and positioning up to 50 pounds, ascending and descending stools, ladders, or steps, and crouching, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
Occasional requirement to remain seated.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and after hours as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service to customers, guests, coworkers, and patients, including empathy and compassion.
Deliver elevated patient service and demonstrate product knowledge in accordance with Trulieve service standards.
Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders promptly and efficiently.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work with the leader on duty to improve the customer experience.
Help customers resolve product or device issues and work with leadership to find solutions to customer concerns.
Document customer issues and concerns in the customer's profile.
Maintain a clean, well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Complete other tasks assigned by management.
When needed as a delivery associate, follow company policies and procedures and fulfill delivery-driver duties; a valid driver's license and clear driving record are required.
When needed for online support, help process online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
