About The Position

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis purchasing journey by educating them about product benefits and potential side effects. The associate must know the products and their effects, provide excellent and compassionate customer service, and facilitate purchases in accordance with state regulations while creating an exceptional customer experience. The position may also involve additional team duties, including delivery associate or online support tasks, as needed. This is a part-time position working up to 25 hours per week, with flexible hours based on store needs and availability required for evenings, weekends, holidays, and after-hours business needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, and experience in the field or a similar field.
At least 21 years of age, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
Prior cash-handling experience.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with people at varying seniority levels.
Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
Ability to work effectively without supervision and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism when communicating with management and staff; ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members.
Conversational English sufficient to work with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, understand safety procedures, and use telecommunication devices.
Mental and physical capacity to perform the job duties.
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Ability to move intermittently during the workday; see and hear adequately, or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately.
Ability to function independently, demonstrate flexibility and personal integrity, and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies.
Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile people.
Ability to move throughout the facility, including confined spaces; communicate and exchange sensitive information; observe details at varying ranges; and operate computing devices.
Ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, push and pull up to 50 pounds, lift, carry, and position up to 50 pounds, use stools, ladders, and steps, and crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to be available after hours based on business needs.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service.
A valid driver's license and clear driving record for delivery associate duties.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
Show empathy and compassion to patients.

Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow Trulieve policies and procedures.
Work with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
Help customers with product or device issues.
Work with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
Document customer issues and concerns on customer profiles.
Maintain a clean and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Perform other tasks assigned by management.
When needed as a delivery associate, follow company policies and procedures and fulfill delivery duties; a valid driver's license and clear driving record are required for this role.
When needed in online support, help process all online orders, including deliveries, within a two-hour timeframe.
