DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Dishwasher at THC Carondelet SM in Tucson, Arizona. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The dishwasher scrapes and rinses food from dishes, washes dishes by hand or using dishwashing equipment, and cleans cookware and serving trays according to assigned procedures. The position also involves polishing silverware, monitoring temperatures and chemical levels, maintaining a safe and orderly dish area, cleaning kitchen surfaces and floors, removing and cleaning trash containers, and moving supplies and equipment. Previous food service experience is preferred. The fixed pay rate is $15.65 per hour. Full-time schedules vary by day and hours and include rotating weekends; further details are provided during the interview.

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash dishes by hand or use racks or a conveyor dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, including a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
- Comply with outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
