DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Fresh & Ready Food Group is hiring a full-time Dishwasher in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The position follows assigned dishwashing procedures and safety and sanitation standards. Employees work in a temperature-controlled environment and may be exposed to cold conditions for extended periods. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with Sunday and one weekday off. Further schedule details are provided during the interview. The fixed pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Previous dishwashing experience is required.
Requirements
- Previous dishwashing experience is required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into a dishwashing machine as assigned; ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Comply with established safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
