DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Dishwasher at Roper St Francis Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. The position maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen and work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. Previous food service or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required; training is available. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with days that may vary. Open availability is preferred. The pay range is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Morrison Healthcare supports health systems with culinary, nutritional, and operational expertise. Requirements
- Previous food service or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into racks or a dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using the equipment and procedures assigned, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
