About The Position
The Dishwasher works in person at Buffalo Marriott LECOM HARBORCENTER. The role is available part-time or full-time and pays starting at $16.50 per hour. The employee must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. The position involves washing restaurant and kitchen wares, cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas, and following state sanitation and health regulations, OSHA regulations, and hotel requirements.
Requirements
- Ability to count.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
- Ability to communicate satisfactorily with management and co-workers so they understand.
- Physical strength and stamina to stand for long hours and perform repetitive motions.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

- Prior experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate the dishwashing machine according to hotel specifications and standards to wash designated restaurant and kitchen wares.
- Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Clean and maintain equipment and the respective work areas.
- Maintain and follow state sanitation and health regulations and hotel requirements.
- Use equipment and tools only as intended, properly, and safely.
- Use the correct cleaning chemicals for designated items in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.
