About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for participating in kitchen functions, preparation, and maintaining quality standards, sanitation, and cleanliness. This is an onsite, part-time role at Five Brothers Kitchen at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience in Bardstown, Kentucky. The standard first-shift schedule is 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with rotating days that include weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen personnel, and dining room personnel.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, climb stairs, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, use a computer, and reach with hands and arms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation in accordance with state and federal food and safety guidelines.
• Follow procedures and duties set forth by the Kitchen Managers.
• Ensure dishware and cookware are clean.
• Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and adherence to the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
• Follow restaurant policies and kitchen procedures established by the Kitchen Managers.
• Adhere to restaurant and company rules, policies, and procedures.
• Operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Follow the assigned schedule.
