About The Position

The Bourbon Steak Server at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is an ambassador for the restaurant’s service and cuisine. The role provides warm, personal attention to guests and creates a welcoming, memorable first impression. The position reports to the Bourbon Steak General Manager and is part-time.

Requirements

• Two years of previous service experience in a fine-dining restaurant.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team.
• Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with a point-of-sale system is an asset, but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Assist guests with menu items in an informative and helpful manner.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Maintain full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
