About The Position

The Dishwasher works at Ranch Steakhouse OKC and operates the dish machine according to company standards, using the proper measurements of detergents and sanitizer. The role includes restocking dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans; disposing of garbage; and breaking down, cleaning, and sanitizing the dish machine at the end of the shift. The Dishwasher keeps dishes and storage areas clean and organized and performs other duties as requested by management. The position requires repetitive use of the arms, hands, and fingers; effective communication and a positive attitude when working with team members; and a basic understanding of sanitation guidelines and employment and merchandise-handling procedures. The employee must be able to perform physical activities including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, listening, and repetitive motion. The role requires standing 100% of the time and lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. The work environment involves constant exposure to water and occasional exposure to cold or heat.
