About The Position

The Dishwasher operates dish machines according to company standards, using proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer. The role restocks dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans; disposes of garbage; and breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes the dish machine at the end of the shift. The Dishwasher keeps dishware and storage areas clean and organized and performs other duties as requested by management. The position requires repetitive use of the arms, hands, and fingers; effective communication and a positive attitude when working with team members; a basic understanding of sanitation guidelines; and knowledge of employment and merchandise-handling procedures. The job involves standing 100% of the time and may require stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pulling, talking, listening, and repetitive motion. Employees lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. The work environment includes constant exposure to water and occasional exposure to cold or heat.
