About The Position

The PM Dishwasher at The National, Autograph Collection performs janitorial and utility duties to maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas while contributing to teamwork and guest service. The role supports dish-area operations and helps maintain kitchen, storage, refrigeration, and loading dock spaces.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
Must be able to work with industrial cleaning supplies.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to successfully multitask several duties at one time.
Must possess sufficient strength to perform job responsibilities.
Must be able to lift or transport at least 50 pounds.
Must be able to push or pull carts and other equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
Must be able to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to four hours.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma is desirable.
Previous restaurant or food service experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors, and clean walls and floor mats.
Remove refuse, clean trash containers, and keep the loading dock orderly.
Pick up trash in the kitchen and loading dock area.
Maintain walk-in refrigerators.
Keep storage areas, tools, equipment, carts, and other assigned areas and items clean.
Participate in dish-area operations as assigned and return items that are not sufficiently clean for a second wash.
Change and dispose of grease.
Maintain awareness of safety and accident prevention; promptly notify the Manager and complete an accident/incident report if an accident occurs.
Assist fellow associates as needed.
Report maintenance problems and other problem areas to the designated Manager on Duty.
Follow company, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the manager or adjusted according to business volume and current work needs.
