About The Position

The Dishwasher performs janitorial and utility duties to maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas while supporting teamwork and guest service. The role participates in dish area operations and maintains kitchen, storage, refrigeration, and loading dock areas. Additional tasks may be assigned or revised by management based on business volume and operational needs. This is a non-exempt position.

Requirements

Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to work with industrial cleaning supplies.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to successfully multitask across several duties.
Sufficient strength to perform job responsibilities.
Ability to lift or transport at least 50 pounds.
Ability to push or pull carts and other equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to four hours.
Ability to perform constant standing and walking and frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors and clean walls and floor mats.
Remove refuse, clean trash containers, and keep the loading dock orderly.
Pick up trash in the kitchen and loading dock area.
Maintain walk-in refrigerators.
Keep storage areas, tools, equipment, carts, and other assigned areas or items clean.
Participate in dish area operations as assigned and return items that are not sufficiently clean for a second wash.
Change and dispose of grease.
Maintain awareness of safety and accident prevention; promptly notify the Manager and complete an accident or incident report when an accident occurs.
Assist fellow associates as needed.
Report maintenance issues and other problem areas to the designated Manager on Duty.
Follow company, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
