About The Position

The Dishwasher performs janitorial, utility, and dish-area duties to maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas while providing teamwork and guest service. The role reports to the Sous Chef and is classified as non-exempt. It is part-time.

Requirements

Follow verbal and written directions.
Work with industrial cleaning supplies.
Work with minimal supervision.
Successfully multitask several duties at one time.
Possess sufficient strength to perform job responsibilities.
Lift or transport at least 50 pounds.
Push or pull carts and other equipment weighing up to 250 pounds.
Stand and maintain well-paced mobility for up to four hours at a time.
Perform constant standing and walking, and frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting.

Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors; clean walls and floor mats.
Remove refuse, clean trash containers, and keep the loading dock orderly.
Pick up trash in the kitchen and loading dock area.
Maintain walk-in refrigerators.
Keep storage areas, tools, equipment, carts, and other assigned areas or items clean.
Participate in dish-area operations as assigned and return items that are not sufficiently clean for a second wash.
Change and dispose of grease.
Maintain awareness of safety and accident prevention; notify the Manager and complete an accident or incident report if an accident occurs.
Assist fellow associates as needed.
Report maintenance problems or other problem areas to the designated Manager on Duty.
Follow company, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
Perform additional or revised duties as assigned based on business volume and current needs.
