About The Position

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing dishware and kitchen equipment, keeping the dish area and kitchen clean and safe, and assisting with movement and handling of supplies and products. The position is located at United Airlines DEN – United Club West / B Concourse in Denver, Colorado. Full-time schedule; days and hours may vary, with further details provided during the interview.

The position may require lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into racks or a conveyor dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
Polish silver using the assigned equipment and procedures, which may include a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
Comply with established safety procedures.
Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
Remove trash to designated containers and steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Help load and unload supplies and product.
Perform other duties as assigned.
