DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Eurest is hiring a full-time Dishwasher in San Antonio, Texas. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; further details are provided during the interview. Dishwasher experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $14.11 per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. The dishwasher cleans dishware and cookware by hand or using dishwashing equipment, polishes silverware as assigned, and helps keep kitchen and food-preparation areas clean and safe. The role also involves maintaining sanitation and safety standards, managing waste, and moving supplies and products. Associates may be offered benefits based on whether the position is full-time or part-time and applicable law.
Requirements
- Dishwasher experience required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor for a dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Comply with established safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
