About The Position
The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The role involves cleaning dishes and cookware by hand or using dishwashing equipment, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, following safety procedures, and supporting the movement and storage of supplies and products. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. No previous experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor for the dishwashing machine.
- Ensure dishes, cookware, and work areas are clean and sanitary.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures.
- Polish silver using the assigned equipment and procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
