About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Dishwasher at Owensboro Health in Owensboro, Kentucky. The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. The schedule is flexible, typically from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.; days and hours may vary. More details are provided during the interview. Previous dishwashing experience is highly preferred but not required. The posted pay range is $13.00 to $18.54 per hour. Requirements
- Previous dishwashing experience is highly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into racks or a dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment.
- Ensure dishes and other items are completely clean and sanitary.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, which may include a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food-preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
- Steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
