About The Position
The Westin Tempe is hiring a full-time AM Dishwasher for its Culinary Department. The Dishwasher helps serve guests in the restaurant and throughout the hotel by maintaining a friendly, courteous, timely, and professional manner that supports a high level of guest satisfaction. The role operates dishwashing equipment to clean dishes and cooking utensils, scrubs pots, restocks supplies, and performs general kitchen cleaning, including mopping floors and removing trash. It also maintains cleanliness in kitchen areas, the Team Member cafeteria, and the loading dock. The position may include routine cleaning with standard hotel cleaning products, responding to unexpected spills, carrying out special guest requests, and other duties assigned by a supervisor. AM availability is required, including weekends and holidays. Employees are expected to maintain professional appearance and conduct, communicate courteously with guests and coworkers, support team members, and follow hotel safety and security procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities
- Operate the dishwasher to clean dishes and cooking utensils used in the kitchen and restaurant.
- Scrub pots and restock supplies in assigned areas.
- Clean and mop kitchen floors and remove trash.
- Maintain cleanliness in kitchen areas, the Team Member cafeteria, and the loading dock.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to meet health standards.
- Clean up unexpected spills and fulfill special guest requests as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor.
- Treat guests and associates courteously and professionally.
- Follow hotel security and safety procedures, including those regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, chemical use, and reporting hazards.
