About The Position

The Westin Tempe is seeking a full-time AM Dishwasher to join its Culinary Department. The Dishwasher supports guest service in the restaurant and throughout the hotel by cleaning dishes and cooking utensils, scrubbing pots, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas, the Team Member cafeteria, and the loading dock. The role involves friendly, courteous, timely, and professional interactions that support guest satisfaction.

The position also includes general and routine cleaning using standard hotel cleaning products, responding to spills, and assisting with special guest requests or other duties as assigned. Associates are expected to follow hotel work, appearance, safety, and security standards, adapt to changing procedures, and work cooperatively with colleagues.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English.

• AM availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher to properly clean dishes and cooking utensils used in the kitchen and restaurant.
• Scrub pots.
• Restock supplies in assigned areas.
• Clean and mop kitchen floors and remove trash.
• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, the Team Member cafeteria, and the loading dock.
• Perform routine cleaning using standard hotel cleaning products in accordance with health standards.
• Clean up unexpected spills and carry out special guest requests as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Treat guests and associates courteously and professionally and follow hotel safety and security policies.
