About The Position

The Westin Tempe is seeking a full-time morning-shift Housekeeping Room Attendant to join its Housekeeping Team. This role maintains the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and provides prompt, courteous service to support an exceptional guest experience and meet Marriott and Crescent hospitality standards.

The position calls for professional, courteous interactions with guests and associates, dependable work habits, adaptability, and teamwork. The attendant uses cleaning chemicals and equipment, follows hotel safety and security procedures, and may receive other job-related duties from a supervisor. Morning shifts include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Willingness to help coworkers and work as a team player.
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extend arms over the head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.

• Follow hotel security policies and procedures, including key controls and safe handling of heavy objects and chemicals.
• Report safety hazards and concerns.
• Pitch in and assist coworkers as needed.
