Winter Food and Beverage Dishwasher
About The Position
Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is seeking a seasonal Dishwasher to support its Food & Beverage operations during the winter operating season. The Dishwasher helps keep kitchens and dining areas clean, safe, and organized so cooks and servers can provide meals and service while maintaining health and sanitation standards. The role involves preparing dishwashing stations, washing and sanitizing dishes and cookware, maintaining clean work areas, assisting with kitchen cleaning, handling trash and recycling, and restocking clean items. The position is based in a primarily kitchen and dishwashing environment, with indoor and outdoor work and exposure to inclement weather. The expected season runs from mid-October through mid-May. Requirements
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 lbs and remain standing for extended periods.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Teamwork mindset and positive attitude.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work the full winter season, mid-October through mid-May.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Set up dishwashing stations and check supplies.
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Ensure items meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
- Take out trash and recycling as needed during and after shifts.
- Follow safe practices and report unsafe conditions.
- Restock clean items for cooks and servers.
- Work with the team to support smooth Food & Beverage operations.
- Maintain a professional attitude toward coworkers and guests.
- Perform additional related tasks as necessary.
