DISHWASHER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring a full-time Dishwasher in Bellevue, Washington. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The schedule is full time, with days that may vary and hours of 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM; further details are provided during the interview. No previous experience is required. The pay range is $22.00 to $23.00 per hour. The dishwasher scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or uses a dishwashing machine, following assigned procedures for pots, pans, trays, and silverware. The position also involves maintaining sanitation and safety standards, cleaning kitchen surfaces and floors, removing trash, moving supplies, and helping load and unload products. Other duties may be assigned. Bon Appétit operates cafés and public restaurants and emphasizes socially and environmentally responsible sourcing and scratch cooking with fresh, local ingredients. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to a dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
