About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Dishwasher at THC Carondelet SM in Tucson, Arizona. The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen areas, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The schedule is full time; days and hours may vary, and rotating weekends are included. The fixed pay rate is $15.65 per hour. Previous food service experience is preferred. Morrison Healthcare is part of Compass Group and provides culinary, nutritional, and operational expertise to health systems. The role supports the preparation and service of meals for patients, caregivers, and communities while maintaining standards for quality, sanitation, and safety.

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into racks or a dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment.
- Maintain complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes and kitchen items.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, which may include a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
- Follow outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
