About The Position

The Dishwasher I operates dish machines according to company standards, measures detergents and sanitizer properly, and keeps dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and storage areas clean and organized. The role includes disposing of garbage and breaking down, cleaning, and sanitizing the dish machine at the end of the shift. The employee may also perform other duties requested by management.

The position requires a positive attitude and effective communication with team members, basic understanding of sanitation guidelines, and knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures. It involves repetitive use of the arms, hands, and fingers; standing for 100% of the time; and physical activities including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pulling, talking, and listening. The work environment includes constant exposure to water and occasional exposure to cold or heat. Lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally is required.

• Restock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Dispose of garbage and break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift.
• Keep dishes and other storage areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
