About The Position

Creative Dining Services is hiring a full-time Dish Room Supervisor to work the PM shift at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. This is a working supervisor position overseeing dish room employees and operations. The supervisor works in partnership with Dining Services to maintain and sanitize kitchen work areas and keep restaurant equipment, utensils, dinnerware, and floors clean and orderly.

Requirements

• Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Be detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dish room employees and operations.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and equipment to approved sanitation standards.
• Return clean items to their proper locations.
• Sweep, mop, and perform general cleaning.
• Maintain and sanitize kitchen work areas and keep restaurant equipment, utensils, dinnerware, and floors clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
