DISH ROOM SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Dish Room Shift Supervisor at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. The supervisor directs associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversees completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policies and procedures. The role includes training associates, creating work schedules, evaluating performance, and helping ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations. The schedule is 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with days that may vary. Pay is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Responsibilities
- Direct associates’ activities during a specific shift and oversee completion of assigned job expectations while maintaining policy and procedure.
- Provide training and create work schedules.
- Evaluate workers’ performance, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
- Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
- May mentor and develop employees and encourage them to set goals and pursue advancement within the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
