About The Position

Sanity.io is scaling its Sales team and is looking for a Director, Sales Enablement to own the function end to end. This role will focus on onboarding and ramp, ongoing skills development, sales methodology, and performance measurement. The ideal candidate will have an AI-first mindset to build and maintain a modern Enablement system. This is a strategic leadership role with a hands-on mandate to set the enablement strategy, build programs and operating models, and ensure translation into seller performance. As the function scales, the role will also involve building the capabilities and capacity for effective enablement across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in sales or revenue enablement at a B2B SaaS company.
  • 3+ years leading an enablement team.
  • Direct experience with building AI workflows and Agents to automate manual work with demonstrated efficiency results.
  • Direct experience with Gong and using AI workflows based on Gong data.
  • Experience building an enablement function from the ground up.
  • Strong facilitation skills with presence to lead bootcamps, skills workshops, and deal reviews.
  • Fluency in a qualification framework such as MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.
  • Comfortable analyzing performance data and tying programs to measurable outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with the enablement stack: LMS, content management, conversation intelligence (e.g., Gong), and Salesforce.
  • Experience partnering with Sales leadership as a peer and providing constructive pushback.
  • Track record of improving ramp time, win rate, and quota attainment.

  • Prior quota-carrying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build an AI-first enablement strategy, leveraging Sanity AI capabilities to create a world-class enablement system.
  • Use AI and automation to build real-time, context-aware Agents delivering buyer content, objection-handling scripts, and competitive insights within the sales workflow.
  • Diagnose sales organization capabilities, identify priority gaps, and use performance data and Sales leadership partnership to determine enablement impact and create a quarterly roadmap.
  • Own the new hire onboarding and ramp strategy from day one through the first pipeline and first closed deal, designing milestone-based ramp plans with clear certification criteria.
  • Build and scale an automated, scalable approach to all enablement, reducing reliance on live delivery over time.
  • Own reinforcement, certification, and refresh processes, including product launches, pricing changes, and process rollouts.
  • Develop playbooks, battlecards, and talk tracks for technical buyers.
  • Partner with Product Marketing and Product to ensure alignment of training with current messaging and product direction.
  • Own the adoption of and adherence to MEDDPICC and the sales qualification framework.
  • Own the process work for repeatable selling, including stage definitions, deal inspection, and win/loss analysis.
  • Enable managers by building coaching guides, call review frameworks, and manager toolkits to reinforce skills.
  • Make coaching a habit across the sales organization.
  • Define enablement metrics (ramp time, win rate, quota attainment, pipeline generated) and build reporting with RevOps.
  • Make seller ramp time a primary measure of enablement effectiveness.
  • Lead a small team covering instructional design, outbound enablement, and technical enablement.
  • Develop the team and create clear ownership and accountability across enablement programs and priorities.
