Director Radiology Services
About The Position
UW Health is seeking a Director Radiology Services – Xray, Breast Imaging, IR to provide operational leadership across X-ray (inpatient and outpatient), Interventional Radiology, and Breast Imaging. The director will cultivate high-performing, engaged, collaborative teams; improve processes, access, and efficiency in a complex, matrixed health system; challenge the status quo; lead by example; and build leadership capability. The role is expected to be a visible leader who drives engagement, standardizes operations, and accelerates results. The position includes responsibility for capital planning, operating budgets, and business planning for new initiatives and equipment, as well as contract review and renegotiation. It is full-time, Monday through Friday, with core hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The director works in a hybrid arrangement and regularly reports onsite at various UW Health locations. Hours and hybrid work may vary according to department operational needs. Applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Health Care Management, Nursing, or a related field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience managing ambulatory services, Radiology services, and/or programs.
- Experience in financial and programmatic presentations.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree, or progress toward a master’s degree, in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
- Administrative experience in a large academic or complex health program that included Radiology.
- Certification through an appropriate Radiology/Medical Imaging body: ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB.
- Radiology Administrator (CRA) certification.
