Radiology Services Coordinator
About The Position
The Radiology Services Coordinator is responsible for the order entry process, communication and guest relations, medical record maintenance and analysis, and various non-technical and clerical duties. The role also involves transporting, lifting, and positioning patients. The coordinator demonstrates competency in operating radiologic systems to manage and transfer digital images to complex media and convert film images to digital formats. The position is based at the Advanced Imaging Center at Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex, which provides outpatient radiology procedures using modern technology and radiologists with subspecialty expertise. The center emphasizes patient comfort, convenience, and reassurance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistants and Medical Administrative Assistants will be considered; a minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical environment is preferred.
