About The Position

The Director of Product Marketing defines how WCCTV brings its security solutions to market. This leader owns positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, market intelligence, sales enablement, and commercialization, connecting Product, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to turn technical capabilities into compelling customer value and measurable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Product Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of B2B product marketing, go-to-market, commercialization, or related experience with ownership of significant products or launches.
  • Proven experience developing positioning, value propositions, messaging, buyer personas, ideal customer profiles, and go-to-market plans.
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear customer and commercial value.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing to execute successful launches.
  • Strong background in sales enablement, market research, customer insight, and competitive intelligence.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in physical security, video surveillance, remote monitoring, IoT, SaaS, managed services, rental, construction, critical infrastructure, or public-sector/SLED markets.
  • Experience with recurring-revenue models, geographic expansion, vertical market entry, or multi-market growth.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams or managing product marketing, creative, content, or related resources.

Responsibilities

  • Own product positioning, messaging, value propositions, buyer personas, ideal customer profiles, and competitive differentiation across the portfolio.
  • Lead go-to-market plans and launches for new products, services, features, vertical solutions, and commercial propositions.
  • Translate complex hardware, software, connectivity, monitoring, analytics, and service capabilities into clear customer outcomes.
  • Create sales enablement tools, including presentations, battlecards, discovery guides, objection handling, solution briefs, and customer proof points.
  • Build market and competitive intelligence through customer research, win-loss analysis, voice-of-customer insights, and market assessments.
  • Develop differentiated propositions for priority industries and support expansion into new geographic markets.
  • Partner with Demand Generation, Content, Digital, Creative, and PR to improve campaign relevance, pipeline creation, and conversion.
  • Serve as the voice of the market and customer, providing commercial input into product roadmaps, prioritization, pricing, and investment decisions.
  • Establish scalable product marketing processes, launch frameworks, standards, and operating rhythms; lead related resources as the function grows.
  • Provide executive leadership with clear recommendations on market opportunities, competitive threats, and go-to-market performance.
