About The Position

Bring your leadership experience to The Battle House Renaissance Mobile Hotel & Spa, a AAA Four Diamond hotel offering a distinctive combination of historic character, luxury, and modern hospitality in downtown Mobile. We're seeking an accomplished hospitality leader to serve as Director of Services, providing strategic and operational leadership for the hotel's Housekeeping operation. This highly visible leadership role has a direct impact on some of the things that matter most to our guests—from the condition and cleanliness of their rooms to the overall quality and presentation of the hotel. As Director of Services, you'll lead the team, establish standards, develop talent, manage financial performance, and partner across the hotel to consistently deliver the level of experience expected at a AAA Four Diamond property.

Requirements

• Strong leadership experience in hotel Housekeeping, Rooms, or Services operations, with the ability to manage a complex, quality-driven operation.
• A demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and engage teams while establishing clear expectations and maintaining high performance standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the cleanliness, presentation, and service expected in an upscale hotel environment.
• Strong operational and financial acumen, including experience managing staffing, labor, departmental expenses, supplies, and budgets.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to work effectively across Front Office, Engineering, and other hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Housekeeping operations, developing and executing strategies that deliver exceptional cleanliness, service, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Set and maintain exceptional quality standards for guestrooms, public spaces, and associate areas through effective inspection programs, cleaning schedules, operating procedures, and continuous improvement.
• Build and develop a high-performing team by establishing clear expectations, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, coaching and developing leaders and associates, and creating a collaborative, accountable work environment.
• Elevate the guest experience by anticipating guest needs, responding effectively to concerns, reviewing feedback, and implementing action plans that continuously improve service and satisfaction.
• Partner across hotel operations, particularly with Front Office and Engineering, to ensure seamless communication, efficient room readiness, effective maintenance coordination, and consistent execution.
• Drive operational and financial performance by managing departmental budgets, labor and expenses, supplies, capital expenditure priorities, and opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
