About The Position

Shaner Hotels is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead sales efforts and develop new business opportunities at AC Hotel Dayton, a 134-room hotel in Dayton, Ohio. The Director of Sales leads sales and marketing initiatives to maximize revenue, occupancy, and profitability; builds and grows relationships across key market segments; and works with the General Manager and department leaders to support smooth operations and outstanding guest satisfaction. The role also represents the hotel in the local business and tourism community and at industry events.

Requirements

At least 5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
Previous hotel sales leadership experience.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of hotel operations, sales and marketing strategies, and local market conditions.
Experience developing budgets, forecasting revenue, and achieving sales targets.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Identify revenue opportunities and create targeted sales strategies, promotions, and packages.
Build and maintain relationships within the local business and tourism community.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
Develop and manage the Sales Department budget while achieving financial goals.
Collaborate with the General Manager and department leaders to support seamless operations and outstanding guest satisfaction.
