About The Position

Shaner Hotels is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead sales efforts, develop new business opportunities, and support the continued success of the AC Hotel Dayton. The role leads sales and marketing initiatives to maximize revenue, occupancy, and profitability; develops business and relationships across key market segments; and represents the hotel in the local community and at industry events. The Director of Sales also manages the Sales Department budget and collaborates with the General Manager and department leaders to support smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

At least 5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
Previous hotel sales leadership experience.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of hotel operations, sales and marketing strategies, and local market conditions.
Experience developing budgets, forecasting revenue, and achieving sales targets.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Marriott experience preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

Identify new revenue opportunities and create targeted sales strategies, promotions, and packages.
Build and maintain relationships within the local business and tourism community.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
Develop and manage the Sales Department budget while achieving financial goals.
Collaborate with the General Manager and department leaders to ensure seamless operations and outstanding guest satisfaction.
