Director of Product Marketing

Foresight Works Ltd•New York, NY
•$210,000 - $250,000

About The Position

Foresight is hiring its first dedicated product marketing leader to define how the market understands its products and their value. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role responsible for building product marketing from the ground up and scaling the function as the company grows. The role will personally develop positioning, sales materials, launches, competitive analysis, demos, website messaging, and customer proof. Foresight provides a platform that connects schedules, field progress, and execution data across parties involved in complex capital projects, helping teams forecast delivery risks and act before delays become missed deadlines. The company serves data-center owners, developers, and general contractors, and is investing in expanding its platform and customer base. The product marketer will help redefine the product and commercial story while drawing on existing customers, data, and demonstrated outcomes. The role works directly with the co-founders, Head of Product, Sales, Customer Success, and customer-facing delivery experts. It owns recommendations on positioning, messaging, and segmentation, and co-owns pricing and packaging decisions with Product and company leadership. The position is US-based, with New York preferred and occasional travel to customer sites required.

Requirements

  • Have 7+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or similar relevant work in complex B2B, enterprise, or technical software.

  • Have built product marketing that measurably improved how a commercial team sells, with a commercial mindset around win rates, sales cycles, pricing, and retention.
  • Be excellent at positioning and able to make complex products and markets easy to understand.
  • Be strong at research and able to turn messy customer and market signals into clear strategic choices.
  • Be highly hands-on and prefer building over coordinating, without needing a large team or agency to make progress.
  • Thrive in ambiguity and decide what needs to be done without waiting for a brief.
  • Be based in the US.
  • Be able to travel occasionally to customer sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction technology, infrastructure, data centers, energy, industrial software, or another category where technical products intersect with services and the physical world.

  • Own product marketing end to end for existing and new products, from launch strategy through customer adoption.
